Woodstock Cemetery

I went into Woodstock with Jess over the weekend to stop by Jean Turmo and a few other favorite shops. Unfortunately my absolute favorite quilting shop was boarded up and empty. So upsetting! They had the best fabric selection ever.

We had already gotten our ice cream at Taco Juan's and were strolling past the cemetery in town, when I realized I had never really just walked through a cemetery for the heck of it. I've always been in one during a funeral or to visit a loved one who'd passed.

So we strolled in. It was a gorgeous sunny day, and we had a lot of fun walking around and reading about peoples' lives, and especially what they or their loved ones chose to put on their gravestones. There were some incredibly beautiful memorials, and a few that made us snicker. The green circular plaque is a sundial with the phrase "Time is Valuable" engraved around the edge. Yikes.

Of course I couldn't pass up the opportunity to deprive Megan of seeing these incredible CAT TOMBSTONES as well. Seriously.
